Taittinger Dinner – September 2014

Our next exclusive event is the Taittinger Dinner, which pays homage to one of the finest champagne houses, whose champagnes will accompany each course except for one — when we will be serving an exquisite red.

The overt Bond reference is completely intentional because Taittinger is acknowledged as James Bond’s favourite champagne — putting Dom Pérignon a close second. Taittinger has been closely associated with Ian Fleming’s character since his early exploits and has prominently featured in many of the Bond novels and films.

The evening will be hosted by Frederic Moonery of Hatch Mansfield — a London-based company specialising in premium wine made by independent, family-owned producers, including Taittinger and the producer of the fine 2010 Burgundy.
